Peter H\u00f6hnle, the founder of the company, actually intended to earn his living as a manufacturer working from home in the surgical instrument industry. That meant manufacturing instruments in a small workshop at home which were subsequently sold by major companies. <\/span><\/p>\n During this period, Peter H\u00f6hnle produced a wide range of instruments. Tweezers, screw lock and box lock forceps, plaster-of-Paris shears and many more. In 1966, when the demand for instruments was constantly increasing, Peter H\u00f6hnle decided to market the instruments he manufactured himself. His wife Irene supported him by assuming the commercial side of the business. At that stage they were manufacturing bone rongeur double action jaws and bone cutting forceps double action jaws.
\nHaving concluded the college for master craftsmen, Peter H\u00f6hnle started to train apprentices - to date more than successfully. Thus, two surgical mechanics who had been trained by him were honoured as federal state and national winners over the years.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t<\/div>
